We have had this table for almost a year now and just as I was cleaning up more spilled juice this morning I realized again how much I love this set! It is so durable, easy to clean and still looks great after a year. Non-washable crayon even came off pretty easily. It sits in the middle of our great room and the neutral tone doesn't make it stand out. My daughter is now 2-1/2 and still uses it daily to eat, read books or color. I don't see her outgrowing this for at least another year at her average size so I'm surprised by the comment that it's too small for an average kid. The handle on the top makes it easy for her to pull the chair out and the handles on the side make it very easy for me to push her in - such a great idea!

Chair sit is 6 inches and table is 12 inches high. Chair sit is very narrow. My son is 18 months old, normal height and it is too short for him even now. When he sits on the chair, his knees are higher than his bottom.
It is nicely made, but I will have to buy another table and chair pretty soon. If it is too short for 1.5 years old, it is definitely too short for the recommended 2-3 year old.

I went back and forth on ordering this for a few weeks due to the expense. But finally I could not find anything equivalent to this one locally. Everything local was plastic, flimsy looking or too big. Although more money than I wanted to spend at first I realized you have to pay to get something quality. My fear though was that I wound spend the money to get quality but item would fall short, which has happened before. This item does not fall short. It's great quality and my son loves it.

This was similiar to tables and chairs at my son's daycare which inspired me to buy it. When I saw him at daycare and saw how much he liked sitting in a chair just his size at a table just his size I wanted something similiar at home. He's now 17 months and I was unsure if it would be the right size for him but it does fit him perfectly. Table is bigger surface than I thought which was great. He ran to it and started playing immediately. He loves to have his lego pieces and sit there and put them together. Or he gets his little piano and plays. He even plays with some toys now that he had no interest in before as the height give him a different view point and better access, allowing him more freedom to manipulate toys and use fine motor coordination.

He does struggle getting in and out of chair and having it pulled close but cut out in table helps and he's so eager he always looks to mom to help. He should get the hang of doing this on his own shortly.

It was easy to put together and I love the solid feel of it. Chair very sturdy and hard to knock over which is problem we had with other chairs. My son loves to bang on things as he does this but not a scratch on it yet.

Great product. My son loves it. Which means I love it! Well worth the money.
